Nashville weather is classified as humid subtropical and is characterized by its hot, humid summers and rather mild winters. Another characteristic of weather in Nashville is the hefty rainfall the city experiences, which accounts for the prevailing cleanness and the abundant greenery. Despite the fact that for most part of the year, rain fall remains a possibility, Nashville weather is quite frequently intercepted by fine, sunny days allowing for outdoor activities.

Along with the prevailing weather conditions, this is also attributed to the diverse array of trees that can be found in Nashville, which promoted U.S. officials to declare Nashville as the 18th-worst spring allergy city in the country.
Summer weather in Nashville is typically warm and humid; July and August are the hottest months of the year, experiencing daytime temperatures that can soar up to around 31°C. Again, Nashville weather can be rather discomforting because of the high humidity levels that dominate conditions, even if mercury is not at its highest.
During winter, Nashville weather retains a mostly cool disposition for much of the duration of the season. The lowest temperatures of the year are usually recorded during January, with daytime averages hovering around 8°C, dropping to bellow freezing point when nighttime descents upon the city.
